SpeechWorkers S.A.E. has signed an exclusive business partnership agreement with SpeechArabia of Switzerland, for the development of Speech Applications for the individuals.

This Exclusive agreement will facilitate SpeechArabia of Switzerland to develop Arabic / Multi Language voice interface using SpeechWorkers enhanced text To Speech TTS and Automatic Speech Recognition ASR engines. It will provide cutting-edge speech enabled solutions for individuals supporting Arabic language.

It is matter of fact that individual use very big stream of words unlike corporate where most of the cases are pre-defined, and this requires individual based applications which can deliver more diversified content data and messages delivery. We are proud that SpeechWorkers has developed solely its own Arabic TTS engines, within its own labs, and this will give SpeechArabia the edge in their speech enabled solutions.

SpeechArabia plan is to target mainly European market, and specially the large Arabian communites to get the maximum benefit for this unique technology and plans to invest in Gulf and Middle East markets too.

Mr. Sokkary SpeechWorkers S.A.E. Chairman-Founder, indicated that This step will enable us to develop a robust speech applications TTS & ASR for individuals, supporting Arabic language in different Arabic accents. in addition the agreement will allow SpeechArabia to build on SpeechWorkers Solutions for Corporate. Applications will help Arabian communities in Europe to keep contact with their native culture and also help Non Arab people to get a contact key with Arab world in many fields such as Business, Trade, Tourist, Culture understanding and many more.

Speecharabia CEO Mr. Yunis indicated that the project has been the main focus of Speecharabia since it was founded in October 2003. The agreement with SpeechWorkers the largest and leading Arabic/Multi Language speech enabled solution provider in the region will help us to build new applications which will read to the user the Arabic / Multi Language text that they select from any applications within windows. enabling end-user to free his eyes from the hours behind the screen and freeing him self to do other tasks while a document is being read to him.
This Great step will have a great impact on future applications being developed for individuals and corporations. The applications will be reasonable priced to reach a great number of end-users.

Currently SpeechWorkers is implementing its Arabic/English ASR & TTS technology on corporate level and in process of implementing a turnkey project for Saudi Telecom Co. STC subscribers in Saudi Arabia, this new service is the first of its kind in Arab world and the Middle East.
