Jop opening : Senior Programmer

SpeechWorkers S.A.E is a leading company focusing on speech processing solutions and research. is looking for a highly-motivated Senior Programmer for a full time job in Cairo, Egypt. He is responsible to assess all aspects of our core solution processes, to identify and recommend solutions for problems and enhancements to current procedures and convert difficult application specifications into functional programs, queries or reports, and will provide superior development for the applications, reports and interfaces.  Specific duties include: Design, code, test, implement and maintain difficult software applications, queries and reports adhering to the standards documented within the IT team while working under little supervision; Debug and resolve difficult technical problems; Develop and maintain procedures for testing and developing applications and reports; Write detailed application and report documentation following established guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience, related to programming, solution development or IT solutions.
• Possess a high level understanding of key technologies and package application implementation / configuration.
• Understanding of current technologies and best practices that comprise a package development cycle.
• Technical writing experience and/or strong documentation skills.
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
• Good command in English writing/reading.
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to work across functional lines and at all levels.
